Native palm wood, which has a striking grain pattern, is transformed into handsome bowls and serving platters. My husband couldn’t resist a cutting board made from palm felled by a storm, with an adorable little carved sea turtle in one corner.
Other craftsmen focus on more functional pieces, like Adirondack chairs fashioned from reclaimed boat wood and painted in cheery coastal hues.

The wind chimes are softly melodic when the wind rustles through, and every time I hear them, I think of the day we spent at the festival.
